Child Centric

About Us

Member of:
I am Luke and I have been working in the childcare and education sector since 2003, when I qualified as an Early Years Practitioner. In my early career, I worked in nurseries and pre-schools, mostly in the Baby Room (0-1 years) and Pre- school (3-5 years). I came to recognise that the time that parents get with their children is precious, especially when children can spend up 11 hours a day in a nursery. Being a male in the early years sector made me think about gender and the role of dads in their children’s lives: all parents’ time with their children is important but dads don’t always feel empowered to do the childcare, don’t feel confident in childcare settings and may not get as much time with their children as their partners. I emphasise the role of both parents in their children’s lives but I specialise in Baby Massage Classes that are  for “Dads Only”. I am passionate about the central role that parents play in their children's lives and about giving children meaningful, quality experiences with their parents. Let me help you help your children with one of my Parents' Groups or Baby Massage courses.
